A mild tremor

PALAKKAD: A mild tremor has been experienced in some areas in and around Patambi in Palakkad district of Kerala, police said on Thursday.
The tremor was felt at about 11.10 pm at Vilayur, Paruthur, Permmudiyur and Kullukalur areas on Wednesday(01-03-06) night.
People heard a loud sound ahead of the tremor and came out of their houses in panic. No damage to properties was reported, police added.
