എന്ഡോ സള്ഫാന് ഉപയോഗത്തിലൂടെ ശലഭങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടകൊല !
കേരളത്തിലെ മാംഗോ സിറ്റി എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന മുതലമട പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ഭാഗം ഉള്പ്പെടുന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങള് ചിത്രശലഭങ്ങള്ക്ക് മരണക്കെണി ഒരുക്കുന്നു.
ലോക രജ്യങ്ങള് ഒന്നടങ്കം നിരോധനം ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തിയ എന്ഡോ സള്ഫാന് എന്ന മാരകമായ കീടനാശിനി ഒരു നിയന്ത്രണവും ഇല്ലാതെ ഈ പ്രദേശങ്ങളില് മാമ്പഴ കൃഷിയില് വ്യാപകമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചു വരുന്നു.
ഇത്, അതുവഴി ദേശാടനം നടത്തുന്ന ശലഭങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ട മരണത്തിന് കാരണമായിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ആയിരക്കണക്കിനു ശലഭങ്ങളാണ് ദിവസം തോറും ഇവിടെ ചത്തുവീഴുന്നത്.
Wild Life Protection Society of India (WPSI) New Delhi, യുടെ സഹാത്തോടെ ഇക്കോളജിക്കല് പ്രൊട്ടെക്ഷന് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് (epg) നടത്തിയ പ0നത്തെ തുടര്ന്നാണ് ഇത് പുറം ലോകം അറിയുന്നത്.

Endo sulphan.
Endosulfan is a banned substance all over the world except in India. Read these documents to know the health hazards of this substance.
It is being used without any discretion here in the Mango plantations of Muthalamada & Kollengode of Palakkad District (Kerala-India).
1000s of migrating Butterflies are being killed everyday because of Endosulfan.
Endosulfan can enter human body through water, air, and in this case Mangoes; and cause several fatal diseases including cancer,mental retardation in children etc.
With the help ofWild Life Protection Society of India (WPSI) New Delhi, Ecological Protection Group conducted a study on this matter(epg) and exposed this widespread use of poisonous pesticide in Mango Plantations of Palakkad District.
