{"id":735,"date":"2011-01-07T11:23:44","date_gmt":"2011-01-07T06:23:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tattamangalam.com\/newsite\/?p=735"},"modified":"2011-01-07T11:33:15","modified_gmt":"2011-01-07T06:33:15","slug":"russels-viper-rescued-and-released-from-chittur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tattamangalam.com\/newsite\/russels-viper-rescued-and-released-from-chittur\/","title":{"rendered":"Russels Viper Rescued and Released from Chittur"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Yesterday one more <strong>Russels Viper<\/strong> (Anali pambu \u0d05\u0d23\u0d32\u0d3f )\u00a0 Rescued and  Released by S.Guruvayurappan of WPSI .<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Due to increased awareness of people to save the snakes\u00a0In the  past two months about a Dozen snakes are released by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wpsi-india.org\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>wildlife Protection  society of India<\/strong><\/a>&#8211; New Delhi, South India Chapter.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Snake was found inside Chittur Thaluk office  Premise. It was kept in a sack by some youths . They said that the snake was found laying in the  compound upside down. The stomach was full. The snake\u00a0 was  in unconcious state as there was no response from the body. Later with  the concurrence of <strong>Forest department<\/strong>, it was released in an uninhabited  stream side in a distant place. At releasing time, the snake\u00a0 does  not have\u00a0conscious. When the pests are either killed or poisoned, they are  consumed by its predators like frogs and birds, In the next stage, these  frogs are consumed by snakes that results intake of heavy doze of  \u00a0pesticides leads to either end of the food chain or causing imbalance  its fragile ecosystems. some times such snakes are eaten by peacocks  also that may result to the death of our national birds or kites. In the whole stage,thousands of life forms in agro-  biodiversity is being lost every day. Same way the toxicity is reaching  to human beings also.<\/div>\n<div>so we all should be alert to protect our agro-biodiversity and ourselves.
