Police under I.G. Rishi Raj Sing raided a Toddy Godown owned by Mr.Ravindranath at Polani Kalam, Tattamangalam and captured more than 2000 litres of illegally stored Toddy from there. Toddy was stored inside 2 Pick up vans inside the Godown. Although the owner Mr.Ravindranath is absconding, Police arrested 2 persons from the godown. Police said the place is not having the license to store Toddy. It is rumored around Tattamangalam , that lots and lots of illicit liquor is being produced from here everyday.
Kerala Police I.G. Mr.Rishi Raj singh came for the raid with Narcotic DYSP Mr.Rajendran and Chittur Sub Inspector of Police Mr.K.C.Babu by around 12.30 noon. After the rain at “Polini Kalam”, they raided another nearby Toddy godown but they cant find any Toddy from there.
