Russels Viper Rescued and Released from Chittur

Yesterday one more Russels Viper (Anali pambu) is Rescued and Released by S.Guruvayurappan of WPSI . Due to increased awareness of people to save the snakes In the past two months about a Dozen snakes are released by wildlife Protection society of India- New Delhi, South India Chapter. Snake was found in Chittur Thaluk office Premise. It was kept in a sack by some youths who came for their own purpose in the office.

Snake rescued

1.25 meters long Viper snake was rescued by WPSI from Mr.Krishna kumar’s house at Panamkavu, near Pattancheri. The snake was found in an abandoned gobar gas tank of about 12 feet depth.
